
Meditation course with Roman Miesler

An extended weekend where you can use sitting and walking meditation techniques to deepen your awareness and tap into your own wisdom and compassion. It will be a practical connection of spirituality with ordinary life. You will gain the tools to live more consciously, with joy and compassion.
Together we will:
- To develop a simple awareness of being present with ease and relaxation
- To quiet the mind and explore who we are not and what we are
- Discovering our own loving wisdom and compassion through the practice of metta and tonglen
- Establishing an honest relationship with yourself and the world through awareness and compassion
- To reveal the self-deceptions that prevent us from living healthily and truthfully
- Learning that everything in life is usable, everything is a journey
- Exploring what our intention is – the motivation behind why we meditate and live the way we do
- Creating a healthy foundation for meditation in everyday life

14.30 – 17.30 Interpretation + joint sitting and walking meditation
17.30 – 18.30 dinner and break
18.30 – 19.45 joint conversations
20.00 – 21.30 interpretation + joint meditation while sitting and walking

Place: Buddhist Center Forest Tranquility (Shanta Vana), founded by Venerable Dhammadípa (Bobov no. 431, Malá Skála)
Fee: 1950 CZK / 78 € – the fee includes accommodation, vegetarian food, tax, organization and local fee.
The fee does not include an allowance for Romano for accompanying the course. You will be able to donate it voluntarily and anonymously in the form of a donation.
The session is accompanied by Roman Miesler – He has been practicing meditation since 1991. His current practice includes vipassana meditation and techniques of Tibetan Buddhism. It emphasizes overall development, earthiness, openness, compassion and continuous – continuous meditation, which is not different from an ordinary, healthy life.
He has been leading group meditation sessions since 2003 and also accompanies people in dark retreats and meditation retreats since 2013 in Zaježová, Slovakia, where he lives with his family. He comes from Olomouc.
